How it works?

Exclusive Airfree technology removes microorganisms and allergens, destroying them in a split second. Depending on the model, from 14 to 20 thousand liters of air passes through the device every hour, for a short period of time purifying all the air in the room.

This process is similar to boiling water sterilization; when boiling water, all microorganisms contained in it are destroyed. Similarly, Airfree constantly passes all the air in the room through itself, heating it to more than 200ºC, instantly sterilizing it. The purified air is cooled inside the device and returned back to the room.

The whole process is fully automated and requires no maintenance, during the entire service life of the device no parts need to be replaced, consumables are completely absent. All you have to do is connect the device to the network and it will start working.

The story that led to the creation of the brand Airfree® is quite special. In fact, the technology began to be developed through the initiative and creativity of a Portuguese entrepreneur looking for an effective response to soothe his son's allergic crises.

The first prototype of Airfree® air purifier was originally developed as a natural method for destroying allergens by heat. After having passed several tests at INETI's microbiology laboratory in Portugal, the idea has been to produce large-scale devices so that more families around the world can enjoy the benefits of a simple and effective concept. .
After a few adjustments that improved the electronics and capacity of the devices, Airfree® was born in 2004 and launched its P line of air purifiers with a modern and attractive design. This was the beginning of a brand conquering the world.
